Relevant For

1) For Bschool students on leveraging their prior work experience contextually, while deciding on their post-MBA jobs

2) For post-superannuation careers: identifying the right kind of roles and scenarios

3) Managing In-company transitions eg. promotions/secondment/ cross-functional assignments etc

4) For dealing with lay-offs / poor appraisals.

Purpose

To enable leaders to handle new or difficult work-related transitions with greater self-awareness and preparation.

Content

Methodology includes :

1) Career orientation mapping using the tool called Birkman

2) Facilitated discussions around prioritizing goals

3) CV writing and rehearsing the pitch for each context (for outplacement)

4) Mentoring and hand-holding

Additionally, the New Leader Orientation (NLO) program is recommended along with this program, for quicker assimilation of the new leader with his/her team and with the organization's culture.

Deliverables

1) Mapping readiness vis-a-vis new role or context

2) Defining the structured coaching agenda as required for the client.
